Eaves Hall Clitheroe wedding- Sarah & Callum

When the sun shines all day for a stunning wedding at Eaves Hall

I was asked to photograph a wedding at Eaves Hall , for my friends  Sarah and Callum. I have known them both for a few years now and have done a couple of photo shoots with them previously . So, when Callum popped that all important question, they came back from Paris , and asked ” we’re getting married and we want you to be our wedding photographer”  I was absolutely delighted.

The wedding venue was at Eaves Hall  in Clitheroe . It’s a stunning , unique country style building, in its own grounds,  amazing views , and beautiful interior. It’s understandable why they choose this venue. I was excited to be part of the day . You can find more about this venue here http://www.eaveshall.co.uk/

The wedding preparations started at Sarah’s mums house, in Clitheroe , where it was buzzing with laughter as the preparations became underway and the bubbly flowed.

Sarah looked stunning in her dress supplied by Erica Stacey Bridal wear, for examples have a look here http://www.ericastacey.co.uk/  I do have to admit , it was difficult taking images of Sarah that day , she looked amazing , I did shed a tear when I saw her in it , how beautiful she looked.

I shot the details, which included the amazing headpiece Sarah wore on the day which was supplied by http://www.eleventhheaven.com/ . There was so much laughter that day , it was very easy for me to capture what comes naturally , the story of the bridal prep , the vibe , the buzz of the morning. The theme for the day was vintage, so when the VW vans arrived we were ready to go.

Just a short drive to the church of St Michael and St John , which is located in the Borough of Ribble Valley . This is where they exchanged their wedding vows and their love for one another.

After the ceremony I followed them up to Eaves Hall . With the requested formal shots  done of close family and friends , I continued  to document the day with candid images , getting close enough to capture the day that unfolded , but not enough for them to really know I was there.

The image is below , the whole group, shot in the glorious sunshine. I love this image, it just sums up  how the whole day went , relaxed with lots of laughter.

One of my favorite images of the day ,was when I stood on the balcony. I have to say, I’m not very good at heights , but what ever has to be done to get the shot , well it just has to be done!.
